Questions

  • Do your children have other health coverage?

  • Did you recently lose health coverage for your children?

  • Does a parent living outside the home have health coverage for any of the children?

When you complete your NJ FamilyCare application you will be asked questions about your children's other health coverage.  It is important that you answer these questions correctly and truthfully.  NJ does check for other health insurance coverage.

There are different rules for each NJ FamilyCare Plan.  Check your family income on the chart below to find out which plan applies to your children.
