OBTAINING BIRTH, MARRIAGE, DIVORCE AND DEATH CERTIFICATES

You must submit identification and state your relationship to the individual named on the vital record you are requesting.

The New Jersey Office of Vital Statistics maintains all birth, marriage and death records for the period from 1878 to present and these can be obtained as outlined below.
